Fish said it best—ho ho, holy shit! As The Fishmas Spectacular set out to celebrate 10 years of Gone Fishkin on idobi Radio—the official Gone Fishkin anniversary marked in November, which you can read about here—it was undeniably an evening that will go down in fishtory. Yes, we’re filled with puns—it’s the holiday season!

“10 years 1 month before The Fishmas Spectacular this year, I was in the bedroom I grew up in freaking out about to go on air for the first time as Gone Fishkin,” Fish shares of the holiday event. “To see some of the bands I played that first show and looked up to my entire life in that room celebrating 10 years of the show was the most surreal feeling. Not only did some of my favorite artists in the world come out to celebrate—my Mom and sisters made it out. It wasn’t just to celebrate 10 years of Gone Fishkin, it was celebrating a decade of amazing guests and new friends brought together by music”

What made this night truly exceptional, as is customary for the festive Fishmas affair, was the symphony of electrifying holiday performances that soundtracked the evening. From the dynamic guest performances of JAX bringing her ultra-viral “Victoria’s Secret” to the stage and Jaden Hossler captivating the room by performing blink-182’s “Happy Holidays You Bastard”…six times in a row, to performances from The Ready Set and 44Blonde covering “American Girl,” the stage underwent a magical transformation into a winter wonderland of musical brilliance.

For those who missed the live spectacle in LA, a treasure trove of memorable moments awaits, including performances by Young Rising Sons, The Summer Set (minus Stephen Gomez), The Vodka Crans (Tosh, Nicky C, Kevin, and Andy), and plenty more. The lineup also featured additional stellar acts such as London Mars setting the emo holiday spirit ablaze with “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” a surprise unveiling of an unreleased YUNG GRAVY track with a special guest vocalist—someone Fish is eagerly anticipating on the collaboration—and much more at the eighth annual Fishmas Spectacular below.

A massive shout-out is owed to The Fam for expertly curating the phenomenal gift bags for the evening. Special thanks goes to Tour Water, Tony’s Chocolonely, Mary Jones, Jeeter, Sour Strips, and other generous contributors whose offerings elevated the overall experience, leaving an indelible impression on all guests. Additionally, a huge thank you goes to Cold Coffee Entertainment! Their dedicated efforts and behind-the-scenes work played a pivotal role in making this an unforgettable event.

The eighth annual Fishmas Spectacular was also brought to life alongside idobi Radio and the aforementioned collaborators. The instrumental support from Avalanche Management, Hopeless Records (celebrating their 30th Anniversary on Friday, December 8), Graveboy Records, Verswire, Sunpop Music, and KMGMT intricately wove together an event that pulsated with dynamic energy, creating an atmosphere of unforgettable music and festive cheer. Through their expertise and enthusiasm, these key players ensured the event’s success and underscored its position as a memorable celebration.

Additionally, Fish brought The Fishmas Spectacular energy to his home state of New York at Berlin NYC, collaborating with Mike Ziemer and The Throwback Party on Wednesday, December 20. In New York City, Fish was accompanied by Gunz from The Gunz Show and Sasha from the Cool Nerd Weed Show, adding to the excitement of the event!
