Richmond, Virginia-based grunge, pop-punk ensemble Telltale is beginning their Friday with two big announcements. The quartet’s debut self-titled LP is set to be released on May 17 via Rude Records. Additionally, they’re back with brand-new single “kissinginacarcrash,” preceded by “Otherside,” “Cardinals,” and “EDDY.” The new offering leans deliciously into the zone of psychedelic rock, with a haunting heaviness in its ethereal vocals.

“This track is for anyone who enjoys a late-night drive while they reflect and self-deprecate about every past relationship they’ve had,” Telltale shares of “kissinginacarcrash.” Check out the new single and spooky visualizer below.

“It’s taken us three EPs and over half a decade to finally create the album we’ve always wanted. This is Telltale,” the band says. “If there is one major takeaway from the record, it’s that escaping into the isolation of your vices isn’t a solution to the feeling of disconnection.”

You can pre-order and pre-save the forthcoming self-titled record here.
