If you could ask for any gift on your wedding day, and I really mean anything… would you ask for a personal performance from Taking Back Sunday? Well, for newlyweds Sammi and Adam Seman, their wishes came true.

On Friday, October 27, the quartet arrived to a reception at Trout Lake in Pennsylvania, dressed up in matching burnt orange suits. (Taking some fashion inspo from their friends in The Maine, perhaps?) At first, the couple did not believe it was them. After all, wouldn’t most people have to take a pause to make sure a surprise like this was real? The group did a concert just for the Semans and their guests and set the tone for their first dance.

In the videos, the groom excitedly asks, “What is my life right now?” Additionally, lead singer Adam Lazzara said, “We don’t have many love songs, but we’ve recently made some, and we have to play them for you if that’s OK.” The band played songs from their album 152 including “The One” and “I Am The Only One Who Knows You.”

Both the bride and groom shared photos on their Instagram pages posing with the band.

Sammi said in a caption, “Is this real life? Not only did I marry my best friend today, but our absolute favorite band crashed it! Literal best day of my life.”

In response to the wholesome set of videos, many fans are sharing their wedding dates and asking Taking Back Sunday to come crash their parties, too.

While we don’t know quite yet how this impromptu performance came to be, TBS shared in their Instagram comments that the whole story will be coming out soon.
