Switchfoot To Perform “The Beautiful Letdown” In Full On 20th Anniversary Tour

This news might make some of us feel a little bit old. The album that changed it all for Switchfoot, The Beautiful Letdown, is celebrating its 20 year anniversary this year. If you owned a radio in 2003, or maybe even the iconic Guitar Hero game, you couldn’t escape their absolute smash hit “Meant To Live“. In fact, even after two decades, the legendary guitar riff that starts the song still lives in people’s heads. It is instantly recognizable. Perhaps you liked tunes on the softer side back then, and “Dare You To Move” was more your speed. Either way, this band was EVERYWHERE. Switchfoot has announced a full US tour today, and will be playing the album in its entirety for the first time ever. If you’re feeling nostalgic, or need something to gift your dad for fathers day, tickets can be snagged here.

The alternative rock group also announced they will be re-recording the album just in time for the tour. The new version of the record drops on May 5th! Check out the tour dates below.
