Per a report published via Exclaim, Sum 41 has unfortunately been forced to cancel several of their upcoming Canadian performances “due to a minor back injury that requires a few weeks of physician ordered recuperation,” according to The Jubliee venue in a statement on their website. The Canadian pop-punkers were scheduled to headline The Jubilee this weekend on August 3.

The venue writes, “We regret to inform you that Sum 41 has to cancel their appearance at The Jubilee on Saturday Aug. 3rd and subsequent summer dates, due to a minor back injury that requires a few weeks of physician ordered recuperation. This decision has been made with careful consideration for health and safety, and we apologize to the fans for this regrettable and un-avoidable situation. The band is looking forward to continuing their final world tour come this Sept.. The Jubilee is working diligently to address this change and will provide updates as soon as possible. Thank you for your continued support of The Jubilee.”

While Sum 41 has not shared an official statement at the time of this posting, they will not be performing their four upcoming shows on August 1-9. Presumably, they will continue their final tour in September in the States. Check out their full touring schedule below and purchase tickets here.
