For the elder emos with kids, Sparrow Sleeps has delivered a new lullaby album to not only rock your little ones to sleep but to let you do so, too. They have released a collaboration with Canadian pop-punkers Simple Plan to rework their 2004 album Still Not Getting Any… to Still Not Getting Any Sleep… The album includes beloved singles “Shut Up!” and “Welcome To My Life,” which make for a great intro to any baby who’s new to the world.
The band posted on their Instagram about the release and said, “We still remember how special it was to hold them in our arms as they fell asleep and how much music could help. We hope this album will help families get some much-needed rest and maybe introduce our music to a whole new generation of listeners.”
With the release comes band merch for mini-fans. Blue and red toddler shirts and onesies are available for preorder, along with a pacifier. Parents can make sure that their little ones are the coolest pop-punk kids at daycare.

Sparrow Sleeps previously adapted songs from acts such as Bowling For Soup, Avril Lavigne, Fall Out Boy, and more to convert the emo classics into lullabies. Casey Cole and Pete Lockhart are the founders of the project and named it after Cole’s daughter, Sparrow. Since 2008, they’ve released over 70 albums.
In case you want to bring your child to a rock show in the new year, after playing the soothing sounds of Sparrow Sleeps during naptime, Simple Plan returns to the stage next year at When We Were Young Fest in Las Vegas, NV, on October 18 and 19 to perform the same album.
