Of Mice & Men Announce New Album ‘Tether’

Photo via Press

Of Mice & Men are continuing to extend their legacy. One of the legendary bands that the modern metal scene has at its disposal, they have built their kingdom bigger and bigger with every release. Their last full-length Echo was unleashed in 2021, drip-fed via four different EPs over the course of a year. But for their new release, they are going back to basics and delivering heavy hitters front and centre.

The album is going to be called Tether and will be released on October 06 via SharpTone Records. Vocalist Aaron Pauley had this to say about it:

“With this one, we weren’t really focused on how it sounded as much as we focused on how it felt. And that’s a weird thing to do when all you’re working with is sound. But that was really the goal. And we walked away from making it, feeling like we’ve accomplished that.”

And you can check out the first taste of the album right now. It’s “Warpaint“, and it is a total rager. Atmospheric, razor-sharp and beautifully heavy, it is everything you could ever want from an Of Mice & Men track. Plus, the breakdown hits like a tonne of bricks, which is always a bonus.

Aaron had this to add about the track:
