As one of the leading ladies on the When We Were Young Fest this year, Michelle Branch has been bringing her fusion of pop-rock to the stage with classics such as “Everywhere,” “All You Wanted,” and more. Now, as the second day of When We Were Young Fest is in full swing and unfolding in front of the sold-out crowd, Branch has brought a very special guest, former Hey Monday vocalist Cassadee Pope, on the Stripe Stage to help her with “Are You Happy Now?”

The two incredible vocalists shared the spotlight and were in perfect harmony as they breezed through the track, showcasing their chemistry and leading lady energy. As Pope performed alongside the “Goodbye To You” singer, she shouted out, “Michelle fucking Branch,” sending excitement across the festival grounds.

In cas you weren’t able to catch Branch and Pope live in action, we’ve got you covered. Check out the two vocalists performing “Are You Happy Now?” at When We Were Young Fest’s second date below.

More on When We Were Young Fest 2023 Collabs:

Jumping on stage with Michelle Branch was not Cassadee Pope’s first guest appearance at When We Were Young Fest. As the first day kicked off in Las Vegas, NV, Pope joined Yellowcard to perform “Only One” alongside vocalist William Ryan Key. Ahead of Pope’s performance with Ryan Key, Pierce The Veil’s Vic Fuentes also made a special guest appearance to perform his collaborative track, “Three Minutes More,” with the band. You can check out Vic Fuentes’ performance with Yellowcard and Cassadee Pope’s performance with Yellowcard here.

Speaking of Yellowcard, William Ryan Key made his own special guest appearance alongside Rise Against later in the day to perform a heartwrenching, acoustic rendition of “Swing Life Away.” We never expected to see a crossover quite like this, but we’re so happy that it happened. You can check out Ryan Key with Rise Against at When We Were Young Fest here.
