Like Moths to Flames made an announcement that Aaron Douglass has been kicked out of the band. This comes after accusations of him sleeping with minors. The band acted swiftly after the news broke. The post to their socials read, “Effective immediately, Aaron will no longer be in Like Moths to Flames. Over the last few days, we’ve been made aware of numerous instances where he has abused the platform he was given within the band.”
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time a band has had to do this recently. However, something they did a bit differently than others is they opened up their DMs for anyone to discuss the situation with them. These types of conversations are hard, and we’re sure that this is a difficult situation for the other band members. However, being willing to be vulnerable is admirable. We look forward to seeing what Moths to Flames does in the next chapter of their careers.
