Kim Petras Aims To “Feed The Beast” On Debut Album

Last night Kim Petras finally shared the album art and track listing for her upcoming debut album Feed The Beast. The new record is due out June 23rd and features many hard-hitting artists like her collaboration with Sam Smith on the popular track “Unholy“. The record also features Nicki Minaj on the most recent single, “Alone“, and will have Banks on the currently unreleased album track, “Bait”. Kim Petras appears like a Game Of Thrones character on the album cover. She boasts long, sharp nails, wet hair and is wrapped in a chain link. The juxtaposition between the dark blue tones in the background and the bright, flashy Petras in the foreground makes for a beautiful cover.

The Grammy Award winning artist shared on the album: “It’s been a transition from being an independent artist to being at a major label now,” she said. “And obviously, life has changed quite a bit since then. I have a wonderful team that really wants me to make my best work. So I’m just excited about people hearing this music – I listen to my own music all the time, it’s so lame, but it’s gonna be really really fun.”

Kim Petras is releasing the album during pride month, which feels absolutely perfect. The German singer is a trans women and has been blazing a trail in the music industry for other trans artists all over the world. She is unapologetically fearless, provocative and stunning.
