Ahead of their appearance at Las Vegas’ Best Friends Forever Festival in October, Karate has officially announced that new music is on the way. On July 25, the Boston post-hardcore outfit officially dropped a double single— “Defendants” and “Silence, Sound.”

Additionally, the “Sever” artists announced that their upcoming album Make It Fit will arrive out on October 18, via the Numero Group. This marks their first official full record since 2004’s Pockets.

Numero Group notes, “Out of the brain of Geoff Farina spills 10 new tales from their unlikely reunion, tracked with long-time Karate collaborator Andy Hong. Make It Fit crams 35 minutes of Wes Montgomery homage, Fugazi dub plate party rocking, Lynott lyricism, and Clash city crooning into a graceful seventh album.”

The Make It Fit album is currently available for pre-order on Numero Group via vinyl, CD, cassette, and digital. Order yours here.
