Jesse Cash’s Ghost Atlas Shares Acoustic-Driven “Gaps In The Armoire”

Acting as the fourth single following “Lesser Gods,” “Seeker (Stretch The Night),” and “In The House Of Leaves,” “Gaps In The Armoire” arrives through an array of intricately plucked acoustic strings. The single, along with its predecessors, will be featured on Ghost Atlas’ forthcoming full-length album, Dust Of The Human Shape. This album marks a significant milestone for vocalist/guitarist Jesse Cash, as it represents his debut major label endeavor with Ghost Atlas, scheduled for release via UNFD on January 26.

Branching in a significantly different direction from the previous singles pulled from Ghost Atlas’ highly-anticipated record, “Gaps In The Armoire” emerges as a tender ballad introduced by an expressive acoustic guitar before seamlessly transforming into a full-bodied composition. The track captures a profound and haunting sense of loneliness. Across the track, Cash passionately belts, “Why are you so familiar/I can’t put a name to the feeling/Why am I so afraid/Of what I picture myself losing/I was taking hits of you again/Building up a tolerance,” culminating in a powerful crescendo during the final chorus with the poignant repetition of “You don’t get me high anymore.”
