If Not For Me has signed to Thriller Records and announced a new album, Everything You Wanted. The album will arrive on March 29, and the band has released the title track along with a music video, too. Fans can pre-order the album here.
The act has been a staple in the underground alternative scene and says they’re excited to be signed. “We’ve been able to tell since day one how much they actually believe in us. We’re extremely grateful for InVogue [Records] for pushing and pushing us to get where we need to be, and we’re proud to take this next step with Thriller Records.” They’ve recently trended for their previous album, Eulogy, on the Current Hard Rock and Top New Artists Billboard charts, and it’s safe to say they’ve put in the work to craft consistently enticing music.

Lead vocalist Patty Glover says that their new single comes from his experiences with grief and healing, “I wrote ‘Everything You Wanted’ for anyone who’s ever felt like they’ve been used, manipulated, or betrayed in their interpersonal relationships.” The song features captivating melodic vocals in the chorus, standout screaming, and heavy instrumentation. Glover is able to add pain with a twisted yearning for something better that leaves a lasting impact on listeners. “I just wanted the listener to be able to relate to that vindicating weight being lifted when you can see that you’ve been right all along and can finally begin to move on.”
The full album is a diary full of reflection and growth from Glover’s personal life. He says that he wants fans to understand that going through the seven stages of grief is normal when it comes to healing, “Feeling something at all means that we actually care and want to accept change. All we can do is choose who we want to be going forward.”
