Humanity’s Last Breath Unleash Beautiful New Track “Linger”

Heavy music is a spectrum of emotion. On the surface, it may be bleak, crushing and desolate, but there are so many more layers than you may think. Every feeling that the human body can conjure can be transformed into a piece of destructive majesty. That’s what Humanity’s Last Breath are all about. Known for their pitch-black take on the genre, they occasionally let some light slip through the cracks.

That’s most evident on their new track “Linger“, taken from their upcoming record Ashen. To the untrained ear, it is an unrelenting and uncompromising piece of death metal-infused desolation. But between the gruelling riffs and callous vocals, there is heart and emotion. The atmospheric builds, the painstaking beauty, the unashamed vulnerability. It all equates to a song that demonstrates just how gorgeously affecting music made in the seven circles of hell can be.
