Harper Takes On The “Weight Of The World” On New Track

Harper is a star in the making. Ever since her first cover of Spiritbox’s “Holy Roller”, she hasn’t slowed down in showing exactly what she is made of. From teaming up with Pale Chord to even auditioning on America’s Got Talent (And getting to the live shows!), she is a force to be reckoned with. And now she is releasing her own original music, there’s absolutely no stopping her.

Her latest single is “Weight Of The World”, and features some heavyweights of the metal world. Featuring bludgeoning instrumentation penned by Brand Of Sacrifice, it is a mass of towering riffs and bellowing breakdowns. And Harper matches the intensity with her own uniquely powerful and gritty yell. She’s not alone in her vocal, though. We Came As Romans’ Dave Stephens also brings his own brand of brutality to the party. It’s a clash of titans in the best way possible from an artist who is genuinely only just getting started.

It’s also a very empowering song, and I really hope through my music a lot of kids my age can discover heavy music and also be inspired to make their own. It was so good to work with Leo and Dave on this song. I’m a big fan of both of their bands, so to have them be a part of this was really cool!”

It follows on from her debut single, “Falling”, which sounds an awful lot like this:
