Summer may be coming to a close, but Good Terms is just getting it started. Following their April release of “Hear Me Out,” the band shared their latest “stoner emo” track, “Blurry.”

Opening with energetic guitar progressions, the track is a dynamic journey of fast-moving tempos and instrumentation with introspective segments. Vocals range from melodic to hardcore, changing with the intensity of the lyrics. The drums also provide a solid backbone, moving the track through the slower pre-chorus breaks.

Behind their staple punk riffs and heavy breakdown is an emotionally charged reflection of oneself. The band takes on past mistakes and how certain decisions affected themselves and others. “Now I’m wrong, no matter how I fix this/I know you won’t forget/Now I’m on the bad side of forgiveness, the hindsight of regret/It wasn’t worth it.”

“Blurry” is available to stream via Secret Friends Music Group. Be sure to check out the track below.

Good Terms begin their co-headlining run with Rematch on August 17. In September, they hit the road supporting Calling All Captains and will set out on a short tour with Driveaways in February 2025. Check out a full list of dates below and grab tickets here
