While attending the 2024 BRIT Awards on March 2 at London’s O2 Arena, Bring Me The Horizon took home the prize for Best Rock/Alternative Act. Additionally, as they walked the red carpet, they were asked if their forthcoming record POST HUMAN: NeX GEn is coming soon, and we got an answer… sort of.

The band was originally scheduled to release the second installment, POST HUMAN: NeX Gen, on September 15, 2023. Unfortunately, the release was delayed due to “unforeseen circumstances,” according to the band’s official statement.

On the BRIT Awards red carpet, NME approached the artists about the record. “It’s nearly finished, but it’s not finished quite yet,” Oli Sykes said.

He continued, “It’s going to be right good, though. It’s like the best album ever. So, it’ll be worth the wait.” Check out the full comment here.

Even though there’s no set date on the record, it feels like the new official announcement is closer than ever before. Of course, fans can still delight in the most recent singles from the band including “DArkSide,” “LosT,” “Kool-Aid,” and “AmEN.” In fact, the UK-based quartet just released their “Kool-Aid” music video on February 28. Check out the twisted cinematic new visuals below.
