Bowling For Soup‘s Instagram bio reads “Pop Punk Royalty – Easily the 9th best pop punk band in history” and honestly, they’re totally right. With smashing alternative hits like “1985” (the song your moms loves), “Girl All The Bad Guys Want“, “High School Never Ends“, “Almost” and even their popular cover of “Stacy’s Mom“, they have been impossible not to bring up in a conversation about pop punk for over a decade. Today the band announced the “Getting Old Sucks” Tour. A lot of us can certainly relate to that sentiment. It seems like just yesterday we were all jamming Bowling For Soup in the car on the way to first period math class, and now we are listening to it while doing our taxes. Oof.
The band have announced MEST and Authority Zero as the supporting acts for this run. The tour kicks off September 5th in Atlanta, GA and goes through their appearance at When We Were Young Fest, wrapping up on October 24th in San Diego, CA. Check out the full list of dates below! Tickets go on sale this Friday, May 12th and are available for purchase here.
