Just days away from the release of their highly anticipated, independently issued EP, SH!T YEAH, dropping this Friday, April 5, Between You & Me has unveiled the final preview of their forthcoming, 6-track collection. “Kill My Vibe,” the group’s latest offering, is an infectious, dance-worthy collaboration that features Chicago pop-punkers Knuckle Puck.
Of the new collaborative track, the band shared on X/Twitter, “I literally grew up listening to Knuckle Puck. Band shaped a lot of our earlier music and in 2024 we released a fkn song together. That shit is really cool man.”
With a striking opening line that demands your immediate attention—”Why you always tryna kill my vibe?”—the track propels forward with a contagious energy, effortlessly blending the distinctive vocals of BYAM’s frontman, Jake Wilson, with the raw talents of Knuckle Puck‘s Joe Taylor. Together, the pair delivers a mesmerizing performance in which their voices seamlessly intertwine and leave listeners hooked from the very first line. Check out “Kill My Vibe” below.
Ahead of the track’s official release, the band has been performing “Kill My Vibe” across their most recent tour. The track made its live debut on February 16 in Bristol, England. Between You & Me are on the tail end of their debut U.S. headlining tour. The Aussie natives have a handful of stops remaining with Not My Weekend as support, including their closing show in Anaheim, CA, the day after SH!T YEAH arrives.
