Bad Omens are a force of nature in the alternative scene right now. Going from strength to strength in more ways than one, they are receiving all of the accolades that they so richly deserve. From sold-out shows full of rampant fans to support slots with legends like Bring Me The Horizon, the future is incredibly exciting. Though one of their biggest achievements has been “Just Pretend“, a track that has taken them into the echelons of chart numbers. The song reached the top of the Billboard Hard Rock Digital Song Sales Chart. Then it hit the top of the Alternative Airplay Chart. And then the top of the Hot Hard Rock Songs Chart.

And now it has hit a new level in terms of certifications, the band’s very first. The song is now certified Gold, according to RIAA. That is the equivalent of 500,000 sales. How absolutely massive is that? The track has also been streamed 94 million times on Spotify, and the official audio on YouTube has been watched 14 million times. Bad Omens recently released a dramatic video for “Just Pretend” as well, which has hit almost 3.5 million itself. You can indulge in that below.
