After opening numerous tours in just a few short years, senses are officially driving the bus—and they just wrapped their first-ever headlining tour with style. The pop-rock duo hit stages across the U.S. this spring, bringing their infectious energy and emotional edge to packed crowds, while finally getting to showcase their full catalog. But even with their inaugural headline run behind them, the momentum is only picking up from here.

This summer, senses will support Yours Truly on a run through Australia—marking their first-ever shows down under. Then, later this year, they’ll head to the UK and Europe for the first time, joining The Summer Set on tour. In this exclusive tour diary, Madison Taylor and Nick Sampson reflect on surreal milestones (including a very special family guest in Florida), share their must-have tour items, and look ahead at what’s next—all paired with exclusive behind-the-scenes photos from the road.

What does it mean to be on your first headline tour after 6 opening slots?

It means a lot! We feel incredibly grateful for everyone who has come to the shows and supported us along the way.  We’re just really excited to be able to give our fans a full experience of all of our music.

What was a highlight moment of the tour for you?

A highlight moment of this tour was Madison’s 98-year-old grandmother coming to the show. She lives in Florida, so we purposely made a stop down there for the first time ever so she could come. It was a really special night, and she absolutely was the star of the evening.

What’s the first thing you plan to do now that you’re back home?

We are all going to turn off our phones and ignore each other for AT LEAST 1 day haha just kidding sort of. First things first is sleep! Then we have to start planning the new music 😉

Nick’s Must-Haves on the Road:

1. Emergen-C every single day to stay healthy is a must.
2. AirPods are an absolute must-have for me.
3. Face wash/moisturizer because shows get sweaty.
4. Drumsticks, because duh.

Mad’s Must-Haves on the Road:

1. Vocal steamer – I use it before and after every show, and it saves me
2. Fuzzy crocs – warm, comfortable, slip on, the perfect tour shoe
3. AirPods are necessary for me time.
4. Toiletries – we are hygienic here at senses inc.
5. All my vegan food – it’s so hard to find food for me in some cities, so I bring all the stuff I need in the RV
