Warped Tour veterans’ girlfriends—Travis Mills and Nick Gross—join Fish on idobi Warped Radio with stories, laughs, and a whole lot of nostalgia. From the magic of Warped 2012 to their first show together and touring the world since, the duo digs into what makes this project different from every other chapter of their careers.
As Fish points out, Warped 2012 was a takeover year, with the lineup featuring MOD SUN, G-Eazy, mgk, and Travis Mills (then performing under the moniker T. Mills). Mills shares, “Yeah, we kind of took over 2012 that year, but also it was like, I think The Maine was on that one. I think New Found Glory was on 2012. Taking Back Sunday was on that one…it was one of the best summers of my life.”
Gross adds, “What an epic lineup.”

While Mills may have made his mark on Warped as a scene rapper, Gross emerged from the pop-punk trenches with a backstory that couldn’t be more different.
“2019 was my first time playing Warped Tour,” he shares. “I played with Goldfinger at Mountain View, San Francisco, at Mountain View Amphitheater. That was a blast, like, didn’t have any idea what to expect. It was when I first started to play with Goldfinger, too, so it was probably my fifth show with them. So we show up to the main stage. We’re setting up. There’s like, you know, probably 2,000 people at the main stage, and I’m kind of thinking, ‘Oh, this would be interesting, you’d think there’d be more people here.’ As the stage is turning…we came out and the place was like 30,000 full. It was just stacked.”
