On the October 21 festival date, Rise Against performed “Swing Life Away” from 2004’s Siren Song Of The Counter-Culture with some help from Yellowcard‘s William Ryan Key. He’s about to release his third EP; he is a co-host of a successful Star Wars podcast and is even in the midst of a house renovation. Yellowcard just announced a massive spring and summer tour, and you better be there! The “Ocean Avenue” artists revealed the dates to their Up Up Down Down Tour, featuring support from New Found Glory and Plain White T’s. The tour kicks off on May 6 at Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta and wraps up on June 17 at Boston’s Leader Bank Pavilion. It seems like Yellowcard is teasing new music, and we couldn’t be more thrilled. On January 7, the band took to Instagram and TikTok to share stories of what sounds like the recorded version of the track “Better Days,” which they debuted live in Glasgow. The 22-second post merely shows a speaker seemingly blaring a dazzling vocal run from William Ryan Key. Following the September 6 release of Disney’s A Whole New Sound pop-punk compilation album, Yellowcard took to EPCOT’s Eat To The Beat Series on September 8 and 9 and performed their rendition of Aladdin‘s “A Whole New World” featuring Against The Current‘s Chrissy Costanza. Coming up on October 11 and 12, We The Kings is slated to perform at EPCOT as well. They may just play their cover “Go The Distance” from Hercules. It’s the happiest time on Earth, as Disney just released A Whole New Sound, their 12-track pop-punk compilation album. Prior to the album drop, single releases included Simple Plan‘s reworking of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” from The Lion King, Magnolia Park‘s cover of “I2I” from A Goofy Movie, New Found Glory‘s rendition of “Part Of Your World” from The Little Mermaid, and We The Kings‘ rendition of “Go The Distance” from Hercules.
