Following the June release of the boppy, sunny track “Last Time,” Kississippi is officially back with her full EP, damned if i do it for you. Across the four glittering tracks, she embraces change. With collaboration from The Wonder Years‘ Dan Campbell and Illuminati Hotties’ own Sarah Tudzin, Kississippi truly crafts a timeless narrative about self-growth. For the Philadelphia-based artist, damned if i do it for you is much for than an EP. Linkin Park's Bennington Praises Korn Singer's 'Damned' Lyrics

Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington recorded vocals for “System,” a song written by Jonathan Davis and Richard Gibbs for the movie Queen Of The Damned. The song was originally sung by Davis for the main character Lestat. The Korn singer’s version is still in the movie, but was not included on the soundtrack, due to Davis’s contract with Epic Records. Bennington replaced Davis’s vocals on the soundtrack and said he paid a lot of attention to Davis’s lyrics. “One of the things I noticed when I was listening to the versions that he had sang over was the lyrical content… Read more »

Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington, Disturbed vocalist David Draiman, and Static X singer Wayne Static are set to lend vocals… Read more »

Korn Singer "Damned"

Korn’s Jonathan Davis has co-written the score for the film adaptation of Anne Rice’s Queen of the Damned, due out February 22nd. Collaborating with Oingo Boingo keyboardist Richard Gibbs, Davis composed the score for a ninety-two-piece orchestra and penned five songs for the soundtrack. Among them is one particularly poignant track: a tune with lyrics by Rashad Haughton, brother of the late singer-actress Aaliyah, who portrays the film’s title character. Davis also provides the vampire Lestat’s singing voice. “I’m not the happiest guy in the world,” he says. “So it was really easy to play this character. I’m down with… Read more »
