Tenacious D Release First Song In 5 Years With “Video Games”


Iconic comedy rock duo, Tenacious D are back after a 5 year hiatus to bring fans their newest track, “Video Games“. The goofy song packs a lot of punchlines for only being a little over a minute in length. The joke here is that the band is too old to play video games, except for every once in a while, of course. Tenacious D Break Crazy Record


Tenacious D are the current kings of ‘head touching’ after breaking the show record Friday on the Jimmy Kimmel show. The rock pair of Jack Black and Kyle Gass took part in the celebrity contest, hosted on the Jimmy Kimmel show, and were charged with breaking the record of touching 43 heads of the public outside the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles. After being handcuffed together, Black and Gass managed to beat the current record by three on Hollywood Boulevard.

Vedder, Beck Join Tenacious D's Tsunami Benefit


New York – Tenacious D will be joined by such rock heavyweights as Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder, Beck, Foo Fighters leader Dave Grohl and Queens Of The Stone Age principal Josh Homme at a Jan. 17 benefit in Los Angeles for the victims of the Asian tsunami. The Wiltern Theatre event will also boast an appearance by actor Will Ferrell. Tickets are $60 and $100. The show is being organized via the new collective Music for Relief, with proceeds to benefit the American Red Cross. Ribald Rockers Spinal Tap, Tenacious D Team Up For Charity


Tap the kegs and round up the groupies – two of the biggest champions of rock and roll excess will take the same stage for the first time later this month. Comedy-Rockers Tenacious D Line Up Tour, TV Appearances


Acoustic rock duo Tenacious D will hit the road next month behind their self-titled debut album, starting September 8 at the Town Hall in New York. Jack Black of “High Fidelity” fame and sidekick Kyle Gass will zip from the East Coast to the Midwest and back before going to California in late October. We’re Getting ‘Goosebumps’ Over Disney+’s New Series 


‘Goosebumps’ fans, beware! The beloved R.L. Stine book series is returning to television on Disney+ and Hulu on Friday, the 13th of October. Starring Justin Long and Rachael Harris, the reboot will follow five high schoolers on their journey to solve the mystery of the death of a teen named Harold Biddle.
