Snoop Dogg was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Pasadena on felony gun and drug charges, Los Angeles County prosecutors said. The 35-year-old rap star faces charges of gun possession by a felon and sale or transportation of marijuana. He was arrested Oct. 26 by Burbank police at Bob Hope Airport on suspicion of transportation of a controlled substance. Burbank police later discovered a gun at his home. A man attending a rap concert that featured Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Xzibit, Obie Trice, Lil Jon & The EastSide Boyz, and 213 was stabbed to death during the nine-hour show in Devore, California, according to the Los Angeles Times. Wesley Mitchell, the Inglewood Unified School District police chief, resigned on Wednesday (September 10) after only two months on the job due to the ongoing controversy surrounding his officers moonlighting as members of Snoop Dogg’s security detail, according to Allhiphop.com. Schools Fire Snoop Dogg Bodyguards


The city school board has voted to fire eight part-time school police officers, including four who were moonlighting as bodyguards for rapper Snoop Dogg when an unknown gunman shot at his convoy in April. After a four-hour closed session, the board voted 4-1 to fire reserve officers Leslie Gaulden, Randy Robinson and Kenny Archer, all of whom worked for the rapper. Fan Dies At Snoop Dogg/Red Hot Chili Peppers Show


A concert on Friday (June 6) in Charlotte, North Carolina featuring Snoop Dogg and the Red Hot Chili Peppers turned into a tragedy for one fan. According to the Charlotte Observer, 26-year-old Ashley Farris, a student at UNC Charlotte, was electrocuted as he walked barefoot on a wet stairway at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre. Snoop Dogg has inked a deal with Vital Toys to manufacture a doll in his likeness. The product release date has not yet been announced. Glazed-eyed rapper Snoop Dogg might want to avoid Cleveland when he’s drawing up tour itineraries – he’ll wind up in the slammer next time he’s caught there holding a bag. On Tuesday, Snoop, a.k.a.
