Spinal Tap Heads To Carnegie Hall


For most people, the way to get to Carnegie Hall is to practice, practice, practice. Not Spinal Tap. “If you stick around long enough, you don’t have to practice,” Harry Shearer told People magazine. His fictional rock band will play on June 4 as part of the ninth annual Toyota Comedy Festival, which runs from June 1-10. Shearer, Michael McKean and Christopher Guest starred in the 1984 mock-rock movie “This Is Spinal Tap,” Rob Reiner’s feature-film debut. 5 Seconds of Summer Announce World Tour and Live Album


At the end of 2021, 5 Seconds of Summer hosted a tenth anniversary celebration coined “The 5 Seconds of Summer Show“. The film was a career-spanning concert montage with interspersed skits poking fun at the groups evolution over the last decade. Sex Pistols to return to the road, release DVD


Fresh from a brief reunion tour of Britain, the Sex Pistols will return to the road next summer, guitarist Steve Jones said on Wednesday. Speaking on his Los Angeles radio show, Jones did not give any specifics, other than to say that the punk rock icons might play a charity show at London’s Royal Albert Hall organized by Who vocalist Roger Daltrey. After a break of several years, the Sex Pistols last month played five shows at London’s Brixton Academy, and an arena show each in Manchester and Glasgow.
