Punk rock legend Mike Herrera of MxPx joins The Gunz Show to talk about the music industry, the scene and new music and more as MxPx continues to dominate!
Mike Herrera is the singer and songwriter for band MxPx, they’ve been one of my all time favorite punk bands since I was a teenager, I attended most of their shows in Salt Lake City in the late 90’s and throughout the early 2000’s and eventually toured with Mike and made a friendship with him, I’ve known him close to 20 years and we catch up and learn about Mike’s journey as a musician.
Gunz is super stoked to welcome back to the show the legend himself – Mike Herrera. Having grown up and taking part in a scene full of punk rock and going from basement shows to festivals, Herrera has been able to still stay relevant – continuing to put out new music and be a voice for a community. Mike also talks about the upcoming MxPx livestream show which will be available for free, as well as plays an exclusive acoustic song for all The Gunz Show listeners!
