If one thing is certain about Metro Station’s new EP Gold, it’s that the electro-pop tunes will make you “Shake It†like it’s 2007.
Metro Station released a new song entitled “She Likes Girls”. The track is the second song from the group since Trace Cyrus rejoined the band. The band also revealed information regarding Gold, a new EP due out October 14th. The band expects to release a full length in early 2015.
If you’re ready to party at a pop rock concert this fall, you’ll want to grab tickets to The Outsiders Tour. The Ready Set and the newly reunited Metro Station are joining forces on the anticipated trek, and they’re bringing along supporting acts The Downtown Fiction and Against The Current.

The bands on this tour could have held an open casting call, but they wouldn’t have found a better set of screeching, adoring fans than the sold-out, 98-percent female ’tweens at tonight’s show.Sure, the performers are making a silly poke at the 2001 Ben Stiller-starring comedy Zoolander with their tour title, and they even incorporated Frankie Goes to Hollywood’s “Relax” before playing, but from the crowd’s reaction, this tour might as well have been a serious male model showcase. The album is a culmination of crisp, finely-tuned vocals, and explosive pop tunes that will delight the moment they hit.
Seven new acts were just announced for Vans Warped Tour 2015. Among the fresh faces are Black Veil Brides, Metro Station, Night Riots, and Transit. The national tour hits the road on June 19th, and you can grab tickets for your local date here.
Meet the duo that are taking over the alternative scene one glitched-out, catchy chorus at a time. This month, poptropicaslutz! dropped their highly-anticipated debut album Face For The Radio via Epitaph Records and it is loaded with hits from start to finish. After dropping a slew of exciting singles this year including popular tracks “Catastrophe” featuring Magnolia Park, “Upside Down“, and “What Would You Do To Get Ahead(line)?“, the record’s B-sides are just as great. “Wind Back” and “Sierra Echo X-Ray” for example, are totally stand-out tracks. The group explore many genres across the record, including nods to early 2000’s… Read more »
Everyone has that one song they hope to hear from their favorite band at a live show. Sometimes we get lucky and our favorite track is one of their hits, other times our favorite track isn’t as popular. Perhaps a b-side that rarely gets any love on the stage or a tune from an older album that hasn’t seen a spot in the setlist in years. A festival with a line-up as stacked as When We Were Young, there is potential for a load of surprises. Bands and artists tend to get a little weird as festivals. We crafted a… Read more »
