McFly’s latest double a-side “Baby Come Back/Transylvania” has put an end to Beyonce and Shakira’s three-week run at the top of the Official UK Top 40, while landing the young pop-rock act their seventh No. 1 single. The track debuts ahead of “Beautiful Liar” which drops to two, while Akon’s “Don’t Matter” jumps up eight spots to three. Last week, Cameron Hurley—who found fame with We Are The In Crowd in 2009 and became a staple on Warped Tour—released the first three installments to his complete cover album of blink-182’s 1997 album Dude Ranch. Under the recording name new.wav, Hurley first issued “Pathetic,” “Voyour,” and “Dammit” covers, which exude the same high energy performance level as blink-182’s 2000 live album, The Mark, Tom, and Travis Show.
