Lamb Of God and Killswitch Engage will head out on a co-headlining tour this fall. The tour launches October 22nd in Toronto and canvases much of the U.S and Canada. Support for the tour will come from Testament and Huntress.
Ten years ago, four plucky young men from Las Vegas exploded onto the scene. No one quite knew what to make of them, but through a combination of more wit, a better kiss, a hotter touch, and better fuck[ing lyrics], they made a name for themselves.
Female-fronted power metal quintet Huntress recently wrapped up a tour with metal titans Testament, Killswitch Engage, and Lamb of God, who they’ll be heading to Europe with in the new year. Frontwoman Jill Janus plays hardball and is certainly one of the boys. Classically trained and positively wicked, Janus sat down for some girltalk with idobi writer Alex Rudisill at one of their final dates with such a legendary lineup.
Knocked Loose announced that they’re gearing up to make their late-night television debut. The Grammy nominees will be performing an outdoor mini-concert on November 26 for Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Additionally, Poppy is set to be featured during the performance as well, per an attendee registration site. You can catch the performance on ABC on November 26 at 11:35 PM ET. After sharing the news that Riot Fest would take place in Bridgeview, IL at SeatGeek Stadium, the festival has officially announced they’re returning to Douglass Park in the heart of Chicago. “If there was no Chicago, there’d be no Riot Fest. After revealing its full lineup in June, Riot Fest has officially shared its day-to-day schedule. Running from September 20-22, Riot Fest is taking place at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois. Headliners include Fall Out Boy on Friday, Beck and Pavement on Saturday, and Slayer on Sunday. Additionally, attendees can see the likes of Hot Mulligan, The Aces, and Sum 41 on September 20. HEALTH is gearing up for Rat-Girl summer of their own, and they’re kicking it off with a reimagined version of “ASHAMED” from their 2023 LP RAT WARS. The LA-based noise rockers have recruited CHVRCHES‘ frontwoman Lauren Mayberry to add her unique indie pop vocals to the ethereal track.
