If you grew up in the ’90s, you may remember the Orange County pop-punk quartet Home Grown. As former President Jimmy Carter nailed down the front porch of a home under construction Wednesday, singer Harry Connick Jr. gave an update on the progress being made in the Upper 9th Ward, an area slow to recover from Hurricane Katrina. Say Anything is a band that you can’t appropriately compare to any other band.
