Eve 6 and Everclear will head out on tour together at the end of October with support from Namesake.
Everclear singer Art Alexakis is ready to see an end to the phenomenon of moshing and crowd-surfing. Alexakis says it always seems that it’s guys kicking girls in the head. “It’s just like, just watch the show,” Alexakis told AP Radio. He says he’s “a little reminiscent for the summer of ’94 just like anyone else” but he’s sick of people getting hurt. The singer says although people still mosh at their shows, they tend to jump more than mosh. Fans close to the front might get an extra treat. An onslaught of rock stars-including Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst, Third Eye Blind’s Stephan Jenkins, Everclear, and members of Kiss and Def Leppard-came out Tuesday (September 5) to witness the Los Angeles premiere of the movie that captures the glory of their occupation, Rock Star. civictour.com – Everclear hits the road in late June, headlining their own tour and taking over the second leg of the Civic Tour (v.2001.2), which features blink-182 in nine cities on its first leg. This week I have singer/songwriter Rev from the band The Drowns, he stared the punk band with my old middle school friend and drummer Jake Margolis (Madcap/Everclear) and they’ve been hitting it hard ever since. As everyone heads back to their hometowns for the holidays, Wheatus reminds fans that we’re all still “Christmas Dirtbag.” The jolly re-work of their iconic song “Teenage Dirtbag” landed in listeners’ stockings yesterday from their latest release, Just A Dirtbag Christmas EP.
