Ex-Motown star says $1M of equipment taken from Detroit home


Detroit City Council member and ex-Motown star Martha Reeves says thieves broke into her childhood home and stole about $1 million worth of uninsured recording equipment. Reeves says speakers, microphones and karaoke machines were among the items taken Sunday night. She says the backdoor of the house on Detroit’s east side was kicked in. Liars Academy Equipment Stolen


In the early morning of September 23, Liars Academy had all their equipment stolen out of their trailer in the Roland Park area of Baltimore, MD, the band’s hometown. This comes right on the heels of the release of the band’s new album, Demons, and in the middle of their east coast tour.
