This week I have long time friend and drummer Chris Kamrada from the band Dashboard Confessional, I first was introduced to him by JR from Less Than Jake when JR was managing Kamrada’s band “There For Tomorrow.” Chris and I then for many years would be up for a lot of the same drumming gigs and would tour along side each other, we got to know each other on the road but I brought him on to get the story of how he got to where he is today.
Dashboard Confessional is keeping the momentum going and heading out on another tour. This time with Counting Crows. The tour will kick on June 17th in Indianapolis and will continue until September 25th in Morrison, Colorado. Today we’ve got Irving Plaza dropping their concert schedule and revealing the newly renovated venue, Dashboard Confessional’s fall tour dates, BottleRock sharing their 2021 lineup, and Harry Hudson’s new music video.
Picture this, the year is 2021 (or whatever year we’re allowed to party again), you’re at a Dashboard Confessional concert, the room is crowded and sweaty and instead of drinking the typical PBR tallboy, what you have in your hand is a can of delicious Pinot Noir, or maybe a saucy Rosè. Well, it looks like Dashboard’s frontman Chris Carrabba has teamed up with Nightowl Canning to make that dream a reality. It’s called Canvino.
