Aaron Carter Loses Car to Fiery Accident


POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – Teen pop singer Aaron Carter hit a mattress early Thursday on Florida’s Turnpike with his SUV, which then lit on fire, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. No one was seriously injured. Carter, 17, was driving his 2004 Cadillac Escalade north to Orlando at about 12:30 a.m. when a mattress came loose from the cargo bed of a delivery truck in front of him, said his spokesman, Brad Zeifma.
