We all know that Ohio is for lovers, but Hawthorne Heights has set out to prove that it’s not just Ohio. After three editions of the festival hitting emo fans hard in 2022, Hawthorne Heights is bringing the “Is For Lovers Festival” to eight cities in 2023. This year’s event will visit Hawaii, Lake Tahoe, NV; Denver, CO; Manteo, NC; Council Bluffs, IA; Cincinnati, OH; Pelham, TN; and Mansfield, MA. This morning, Skate and Surf Fest announced that Thrice, Hot Rod Circuit, Fireworks, Cloud Nothings, Defeater, and more have been announced for the two day festival in New Jersey on May 16th and 17th. This announcement only makes the festival more appealing by adding onto the already awesome lineup including Acceptance, The Gaslight Anthem, and The Wonder Years.
