I have new band Repenter on my show. I’ve been friends with their guitar player for about 15 years now, he’s been in bands, was even a record executive at Warner Brothers for a while and now recorded new music with Ross Robinson (Slipknot, Glassjaw, Korn, From First To Last etc) their band sounds nothing like those bands, and they have a refreshing sound, take a listen!!
With confidence, we can say that we kinda miss 2015. Life was simpler when “Uptwon Funk” by Bruno Mars ruled the charts, selfie sticks were a common accessory to carry around music festivals (for better or for worse), and Tumblr was thriving. Following their stint alongside The Amity Affliction this May, Omerta will head out on the road with nu-gaze unit Moodring and death metal act Gates To Hell. Omerta’s summer tour will kick off on June 9 in Chicago, IL, and run through June 24 where the group will wrap up in their hometown, Houston, TX.
