Ryland Steen- America/Reel Big Fish

This week I have session drummer and friend Ryland Steen, he’s been playing for the classic rock band America now for a while, and was also the drummer in Reel Big Fish, we talk about how he got a major record label deal at an early age with his band called Audiovent and how that led him to turning down playing full time with Maroon 5. We talk about what it’s like being a hired and touring drummer and his story about how he got into music.

Scott Klopfenstein- Littlest Man Band, Reel Big Fish

This week I have long time friend singer/songwriter Scott Klopfenstein from The Littlest Man Band and Reel Big Fish, I first met him when I had just graduated high school and was on tour with him in 2002, I even got to play the song Take On Me with Reel Big Fish a few times that year. We recently got back in touch a couple years ago and we talk about how he got started, as well as how I recently filled in for his band on a week and a half run to Texas and back. It was a lot of fun, and so was this interview.
