This week I have Jordan Witzigreuter from his solo project “The Ready Set.” I first met him in 2009 when my band The Bigger Lights got to tour with him, he was opening for us and within months he exploded and became a superstar on the radio charts. We’ve kept in touch this whole time and have become good friends over the years, I have him on my show and teaches me how he got his start to where he is now, this week on my show!

The Ready Set, aka Jordan Witzigreuter, returned with a new music video for recent track “Act 2” on December 8. The song comes from the artist’s October-released studio album Cherryland, which also features singles “Teammate,” “Who You Really Are,” and “Loose Change.” The new Ryan Blewett-directed music video features an energetic Witzigreuter dancing around a white room. Panic! At The Disco‘s lead guitarist Mike Naran is officially a married man and shared snapshots of the beautiful day with his Instagram followers. The Ready Set is full of surprises. After dropping several singles throughout 2023, the Jordan Witzigreuter-led project officially announced his forthcoming album, Cherryland. The album will arrive on streaming platforms on October 27. There is currently no information about pre-orders.
