The Used had an unexpected crossover moment on Sunday, November 2, when they posed with a life-sized Elmo at Old National Centre, shortly after the venue hosted the daytime Elmo And Friends Say Hello show. The band posted the photo with the caption, “We’ve been an Elmo band for 25 years,” just hours before transforming the same room from a daytime kids’ show into a sea of emo fans, performing In Love And Death in full to a packed crowd.
