Much like a phoenix, Kill The Lights is rising “From Ashes” with a new song and corresponding music video. The Fearless Records signees and certified metal supergroup also announced they are gearing up to release their sophomore record, Death Melodies, on March 8.

Comprised of Michael “Moose” Thomas, Jason “Jay” James (Bullet For My Valentine), James Clark (Throw The Fight), Jordan Whelan (Still Remains), and Travis Montgomery (Threat Signal), the band first launched their debut record in 2020 with The Sinner.

Ahead of Death Melodies‘ release, the band has also shared supercharged singles “Broken Bones,” “Scapegoat,” and “Hear You Scream.”

On the industrial-tinged “From Ashes,” vocalist Clark sings, “Save me I’m slowly breaking/Turning into ashes watch as I fall apart/Broken lonely and hopeless/I never wanted things to end like this” in its raw chorus. Check out the full music video below.

“‘From Ashes‘ lyrically discusses having to live with the pain of knowing that you let your loved ones down,” the band says of the new track.”

When discussing the album, Kill The Lights says, “We know you’ve been waiting for this, and we can’t wait for you to hear it,” via Instagram. Check out the tracklist and official artwork for Death Melodies below.
