Meeting your heroes can change your life. And that’s what’s happening to the upcoming act, New Aesthetic. The San Diego, CA-based band received a message from frontman J.T. Woodruff of Hawthorne Heights to work together. “There’s a kid holding a sign that says, ‘Let me play guitar on ‘Ohio Is For Lovers,’” the emo vocalist explains in an Instagram Reel. Hawthorne Heights’ hearts aren’t always in Ohio. The emo act announced the Behind The Tears Tour to celebrate 20 years of their first album, The Silence In Black And White. Tickets go on sale on Friday, February 9 at 10 AM local time. The spring run isn’t going to be the usual show set-up, though. Emo Social, run by Dashboard Confessional drummer Chris Kamrada, announced a packed line-up to grace the Florida lands.
