Canada’s most formidable hardcore band, Comeback Kid have been around the block quite a few times. The band is taking over 2014 with the newly released Die Knowing and a whole mess of touring planned for the rest of the year. idobi writer Alex Rudisill sat down with vocalist Andrew Neufeld to discuss the band’s roots, the next generation, and traveling the world.
Comeback Kid will release Die Knowing on March 4th through Victory Records. This marks the band’s fifth album and it can be pre-ordered here. The album notably has a song featuring Scott Wade, the band’s previous vocalist. The band will embark on a U.S. headlining tour with Backtrack, Xibalba, Downpresser, and To The Wind in February. When Aerosmith tell you which way to walk this summer, they’ll be pointing at Kid Rock and Run-D.M.C., who’ll join the veteran rockers on select tour dates across the country. At an age when most rockers are just trying to get their careers started, singer/songwriter Ben Kweller is already working on his second musical life.
