Interview: Aaron Bedard of Bane

Not many hardcore bands, let alone any band, can say theyâ€™ve been around for nearly 20 years with no hiatus, but Bane can. This year the band will be releasing their final album Donâ€™t Wait Up, on Equal Vision Records and plan to make 2015 their last year as a band. idobi writer Alexa Gallo sat down with singer Aaron Bedard at Todayâ€™s Mixtape Festival to talk the bandâ€™s legacy, upcoming album, and the changes that have occurred in the hardcore community over the years.

Bane recording final album

Bane have announced that they are in the process of recording their fourth and final album, Don’t Wait Up. The new album is being recorded with producer Jay Maas and will be out next year on Equal Vision Records. This marks the bands first full length album since 2005’s The Note. On the album guitarist Aaron Dalbec stated, “We are so excited to finally hit the studio to record what will be our final record. Indie-rock lovers have been patiently waiting for half•alive‘s third studio album, Persona, to drop, and the day has officially arrived. Poppy Reveals Album ‘Negative Spaces’ & Drops New Performance Video

After receiving a Grammy nomination for “Suffocate” with Knocked Loose, Poppy is continuing her exciting month with the release of her sixth album Negative Spaces. The record includes high-octane singles, “the cost of giving up,” “new way out,” “they’re all around us,” and “crystallized.” Out via Sumerian Records, Negative Spaces is produced by former Bring Me The Horizon artist Jordan Fish and House Of Protection‘s Stephen Harrison. Slipknot Announces Europe 2025 Summer Tour Dates
