This past weekend, Australian trap-metal artist Kim Dracula lived out every traveling act’s worst nightmare: a tour bus catching on fire. Fortunately, Kim Dracula and their entire crew made it out of the vehicle before it fully went up in flames. Unfortunately, the riders lost most of their possessions and concert necessities—forcing them to forgo a handful of stops on their support run with Ice Nine Kills.
The artist shared on Instagram, “At 6 AM this morning, our bus caught fire while we were sleeping. I was in the back behind a locked door and was woken up by my crew screaming and banging on the door telling me to get off the bus. We all got off immediately and within 30 seconds the entire bus was engulfed in flames, starting right where I was laying down.”

Kim Dracula adds, “Most of us lost all our possessions, including things we needed for the show. As such, we were unable to perform tonight and will not be able to perform tomorrow. We hope to be back on the road supporting Ice Nine Kills starting in Madison, WI. I am sorry to any of you who were looking forward to seeing us perform. I was unable to make this post any earlier as lost my phone in the fire. Everyone in the crew is safe however, including myself. We look forward to jumping back in soon.”
Fellow alternative stars offered their support for Kim Dracula and their crew. TX2 noted, “That is literally a NIGHTMARE you lived through my god.” Sueco also said, “Holy shit glad ur alright brother.”
Kim Dracula also posted the damage from the vehicle. You can check out their full statement below.
