The Midwest has a way of bringing the best melancholy indie rock to the music scene, and Omaha, Nebraska’s Centerpiece is no exception. The group is creating sounds that’ll have you jamming along all year long, and we’ve got an exclusive stream of their upcoming EP below.
Centerpiece, the band’s self titled debut, contains five tracks that fill you in on exactly who the band is, and the sound they stand for. The quintet brought in producer Jay Maas, and together, they’ve started off in a truly spectacular way. Give the EP a play below, and pre-order it before it drops on May 5th.
“When this started it was just me and Paul, writing songs together and that’s what led to the first EP. We are lucky to have been able to fill out our lineup to reach the full band we have now. I’m writing as much as I can and we’ve already begun demoing new material. Live shows will be the focus here for a while but we’re all really excited about what we can do going forward.” – Will Conner, vocalist
