Gone Fishkin just rocked out to the brand new song from early 2000’s infused pop punk act, Fighting Sides. The track, titled “Let Me Be”, premiered on the show, and can now be heard right here on idobi.com.
“Let Me Be has been an idea for a relatively long time. It was one of the first songs I wrote for this band actually. Alex sent me an idea he had for an intro and it ended up becoming Let Me Be. We’ve tried to use the song in the past but there was always something we didn’t like about it. We made it faster, changed the key, and changed some parts around. After tweaking it several times over the course of a couple months we finally were happy with the song. Let Me Be is my message to overly religious people who feel that everyone should conform to their beliefs.”
