There’ll be no “Music” in New Jersey Friday night. A case of laryngitis forced Madonna to cancel her August 3 show at the Continental Airlines Arena.

The show, the second of two sold-out concerts at the arena, will not be rescheduled, according to a statement from promoter Clear Channel Entertainment. Refunds will be available at the point of purchase, and online and telephone orders will be automatically refunded.

Madonna’s next show will be August 7 in Boston, a concert originally set for August 6. The singer opened the U.S. leg of her Drowned World Tour on July 21 in Philadelphia (see “Madonna – All Five Of Her – Invades Philadelphia With Tour”).
