This fall sees Broken Social Scene embarking on their most ambitious tour yet, playing 38 dates in four countries in just over two months.

The tour sees Social Scene playing in places they’ve not yet ventured, including the US west coast, mid-west, throughout the UK, Halifax and Paris.

Broken Social Scene’s sophomore album You Forgot It In People continues to receive heaps of praise from critics and fans alike. September 8th marks the official UK release of You Forgot It In People via Arts&Crafts/Vertigo; the third country to do so after Canada and the US.

A limited edition double-vinyl version of You Forgot It In People is now available exclusively at www.arts-crafts.ca and features new artwork.

Opening most dates is BSS guitarist/bassist Jason Collett who will release his Arts & Crafts debut Motor Motel Love Songs on October 21st in the US. Anyone unwilling to wait that long can preview the entire album in real audio at www.arts-crafts.ca/jasoncollett and can then purchase the Canadian pressing at the Arts&Crafts webstore.

Playing on the mid-west shows are BSS friends and collaborators Metric in support of their fantastic new album Old World Underground, Where Are You Now? on Everloving Records.

Playing the west-coast dates are friends and label-mates Stars, whose critically acclaimed album Heart is being released in the US by Arts & Crafts this fall.
